Choosing a painting for the pooja room
Pick a size that suits the wall behind or beside the mandir without crowding it; compact canvases of 12×16" to 18×24" fit most pooja rooms. Soft golds, saffron, deep reds and calm neutrals are popular.
Many families choose their ishta devata or a traditional scene. If you have particular traditions in mind, tell the artist in your brief.
