Portrait from photo: how the process works
A portrait from photo starts with one clear picture. We study likeness, expression and light, then paint it by hand and show you a preview before it ships.
Portrait painting from photo: what to send
One clear photo is enough. Include extra references if you want details such as jewellery, clothing or background changed.
Oil or acrylic?
Oil gives soft blends and depth; acrylic is vivid and durable. Not sure? We will recommend the medium that suits your photo.
